Librarians and Dragons: A transferable skills workshop

It brings together ideas and concepts from role playing games, such as dungeons and dragons and escape the rooms, to offer a different way of viewing our professional identity and professional development. It has has been designed to help identify skills you already have and how you can transfer these skills to your own profession. After wrangling dragons & ghosts each participant fills in their own character profile. This allows them to identify your their own current and future quests, legendary items and most importantly their own transferable skills. This workshop has been designed to be engaging and to give participants confidence in applying their own skills and knowledge to new areas of their profession and careers.
