Librarians and Dragons: A transferable skills workshop

It has has been designed to help identify skills you already have and how you can transfer these skills to your own profession. After wrangling dragons & ghosts each participant fills in their own character profile. This allows them to identify your their own current and future quests, legendary items and most importantly their own transferable skills. This workshop has been designed to be engaging and to give participants confidence in applying their own skills and knowledge to new areas of their profession and careers.
What’s Your Agenda: A guide to surviving the zombie apocalypse
This workshop teaches participants how to be resilient is a changing and/or disruptive environment. Participants can be at the start of their career path, mid-way through, or even nearing the end, whichever the case they will likely need to know how to be adaptable and flexible enough to survive uncertain work environments. Attendees learn about communication skills, conflict resolution, negotiation and persuasion, and about their own personal values. all in a bid to become more resilient. The workshop brings together classic teaching styles of presenting, BRAIN-storming, as well as incorporating role playing and gamification in order to create an engaging and highly interactive workshop.
