Daniel McDonald is the Queensland Library Achiever of the Year 2022. Daniel is Library Manager at Darling Downs
Hospital and Health Service and editor of the tri-annual Journal of Health Information and Libraries Australasia. He presented a short talk at the ALIA QLD Mini Conference in November where he was presented with his award. Daniel’s achievements include creating the podcast series Shoosh (https://shoosh.buzzsprout.com/) and hosting weekly Zoom quiz nights during COVID lockdowns as well as editing the monthly HLA Alerts newsletter, which is a must read for health librarians.
