ALIA QLD presents – Redefining Crisis in Museums

by | Jun 8, 2023 | Events

All sectors of the GLAMR industry have started looking towards social media and online space to engage and communicate with their patrons. ALIA QLD is so thankful that Dr. Caroline Wilson-Barnao, Craig Middleton and Lisa Enright have agreed to share and discuss their paper, “Redefining Crisis in Museums: insider’s perspectives on digital engagement” with us. While the focus of the paper is on the National Museum of Australia, library professionals will recognise and relate to similar hurdles when dealing with a lack of clear policies, practices and recourses that help us cater to the communities we serve.

Join us on June 14th at 11am on ZOOM as Dr. Caroline Wilson-Barnao and Craig Middleton share their findings and participate in a Q&A town hall style discussion as we discuss their findings and hopes for the future of the GLAMR industry.
